This image was going to be part of a larger photography project about the anonymity of the immigrant experience in this country. This was taken prior to the current ongoing violation of the immigrant communities here in the United States. I believe a discussion about our relationship with immigrant communities as a whole, their families and themselves is more vital now than ever.
